The University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Peshawar — ranked No. 1 among professional and technical universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (2026) — has officially opened online admissions for its undergraduate BSc Engineering programs for the academic session 2026-27. Programs are offered at the Main Campus (Peshawar) and satellite campuses at Nowshera (Jalozai), Abbottabad and Bannu.

Apply online at admission.uetpeshawar.edu.pk before 31 July 2026 (4:00 PM). Admission needs a valid ETEA CBT score. Classes begin 7 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Valid ETEA CBT entry test for PEC-designated engineering programs (Session 2026-27)
  • Intermediate / equivalent from a recognized BISE with at least 60% unadjusted marks
  • Subjects: Physics, Maths & Chemistry; OR Physics, Maths & Computer Science; OR Physics, Chemistry & Biology (pre-medical — max 40% of intake)
  • DAE / B-Tech (3-year post-matric) with 60% unadjusted marks — relevant disciplines only
  • Result-awaited (Inter Part-II) candidates are provisionally eligible
  • Pre-medical candidates require an Additional Maths DMC

The mandatory test is the ETEA Computer-Based Test (CBT), conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA), KP.

How to Apply — Step by Step

  1. Visit the admissions portal

    Go to admission.uetpeshawar.edu.pk.

  2. Create your account & fill the form

    Register and complete the online application form fully and correctly.

  3. Pay the application fee

    Generate your fee voucher and deposit the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2,500/- at any United Bank Ltd (UBL) branch.

  4. Upload the receipt

    Upload the digital bank receipt to your online profile and keep the hard copy safe.

Must submit a Hope Certificate and an Undertaking. Merit is determined on the Additional Maths result (result-awaited) or on the Intermediate/equivalent result (if appearing to improve Part-I marks).

UET Peshawar opens its doors for all Pakistan Open-merit seats in selected engineering programs (all campuses) are open to any domicile across Pakistan. Priority on subsidized (open-merit) seats goes to KP domicile holders; non-KP candidates must have a valid entry test (ETEA or another PEC-designated agency).
